Their solution, an end to end release automation tool, integrated with the key tools used across the NatWest Group to deliver an end-to-end change governance solution. It was built in 2 weeks and there were multiple rounds of judging from senior roles in the organisation including Head of IT.

The Vodafone Integration team, including team members from Vodafone UK and Sandhata, have been recognised for the innovative and far-reaching changes delivered as part of the TIL Transformation Project.
Sandhata in partnership with Vodafone UK has been selected as a finalist in the DevOps Industry Awards 2019 for Best Overall DevOps Project in the communication sector. After 48 hours of tough debate and expert analysis, a team of 12 independent judges reached their final conclusions. Such was the quality of the entries that it was down to the line, with the final decisions on which teams and projects should be given the awards, proving particularly tough. With all votes now cast – it’s time to look forward to the awards night itself!
In this blog I’d like to take a look at Application Integration Models and their traditional approach. So, what in the world does that mean? Well, back in the days when I was fresh out of college and got recruited, I received training on Application Integration or Middleware. At that point I didn’t realise quite how vast the topic of Middleware was. No wonder it always seemed confusing to me!
Having worked with some of the popular EAI tools like TIBCO BW, Vitria Businessware and SAP PI, it’s time for me now to familiarize myself with something from the IBM product catalogue as well. IIB – IBM Integration Bus. It is the next product offering from IBM in the ESB range; an extension to Websphere Message Broker and Websphere ESB. Going forward, users of Websphere ESB and Message Broker, would have to migrate to IIB. So, here’s few of my initial thoughts when working with IIB.
