We are thrilled to be able to share the news that Sandhata Technologies, jointly with Vodafone UK, have been selected as finalists in this year’s Digital Technology Leaders Awards 2020!
The Computing Digital Technology Leaders Awards exist to recognise the achievements of the individuals and companies who are really making it happen at the coal face of the digital technology stack: from website design and coding to UX and project management, from scrum masters and product managers, all the way up to the CDO.
Sandhata, in partnership with Vodafone UK, has been nominated as finalists in 3 categories:
- Digital Transformation of the Year – Large Organisations
- Best Automation Project
- Project Team of the Year
Our Sandhata teams, working closely alongside Vodafone UK teams, have worked hard on these projects over the last year, and are very proud of the impact these projects have had. These projects have delivered lasting technical and cultural change, greatly reduced costs, and increased job satisfaction for employees. Not bad!
A bit about the projects we are being recognised for
Our TIL Transformation project has been chosen as a finalist for ‘Digital Transformation of the Year – Large Organisations’.
This was a very ambitious, high impact project which has already driven significant improvements across the whole division. The DevOps best practices and behaviours which have been adopted have been a catalyst for a step change in team engagement, productivity and quality. This project alone has resulted in an estimated overall cost saving of £3.3 million per year!
The ‘Best Automation Project’ category recognises the Disaster Recovery (DR) project which we delivered in the Integration domain.
This was a critical project for the long-term stability of the systems, and we took the opportunity to introduce full automation and cloud capabilities across the whole solution as part of the project. These new capabilities have elevated the system to operate at a new level of speed and efficiency and removed the bottleneck for business change.
The TIL team has been chosen as finalists in the ‘Project Team of the Year’ category.
This team has implemented both of the aforementioned projects. They have relished the challenge of overcoming legacy manual processes and outdated toolsets and systems to build new agile, flexible systems which give the capability to deliver change quickly and adapt to new requirements. The team have brought industry knowledge and cutting-edge experience with them to completely transform the way TIL operates. They certainly deserve this recognition.
The live online awards ceremony will take place on Wednesday 21st October 2020. We hope to see you there!
