We are delighted to announce that we, jointly with Vodafone, have been named as Finalists in three categories at this year’s DevOps Excellence Awards.
Now in its 4th year, the DevOps Excellence Awards celebrate and recognise outstanding achievement from organisations and solutions operating within the DevOps space.
Sandhata, in partnership with Vodafone, has been nominated as finalists at the DevOps Excellence Awards in 3 categories:
- DevOps Project of the Year
- Best Automation Project
- Best DevOps Team
A bit about the projects we are being recognised for
Our TIL Transformation project has been chosen as a finalist for ‘DevOps Project of the Year‘.
This was a very ambitious, high impact project which has already driven significant improvements across the whole division. The DevOps best practices and behaviours which have been adopted have been a catalyst for a step change in team engagement, productivity and quality. This project alone has resulted in an estimated overall cost saving of £3.3 million per year!
The ‘Best Automation Project‘ category recognises the Disaster Recovery (DR) project which we delivered in the Integration domain.
This was a critical project for the long-term stability of the systems, and we took the opportunity to introduce full automation and cloud capabilities across the whole solution as part of the project. These new capabilities have elevated the system to operate at a new level of speed and efficiency and removed the bottleneck for business change.
The TIL team has been chosen as finalists in the ‘Best DevOps Team‘ category.
This team has implemented both of the aforementioned projects. They have relished the challenge of overcoming legacy manual processes and outdated toolsets and systems to build new agile, flexible systems which give the capability to deliver change quickly and adapt to new requirements. The team have brought industry knowledge and cutting-edge experience with them to completely transform the way TIL operates. They certainly deserve this recognition.
We’re looking forward to the awards evening on Wednesday 18th March in London, where we’ll be joined by many other organisations who are at various stages on their DevOps journeys, also hoping to win. We hope to see you there!
